Dr. Steven Nguy

OD

Dr. Steven Nguy was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, where he graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Texas at San Antonio. From there, he pursued his Doctor of Optometry degree at the University of Houston College of Optometry, graduating in 2025. During his time at UHCO, Dr. Nguy completed his externship training at Milton-Edgewood Eye Clinic in Milton, Washington, and at Cedar Springs Eye Clinic in Dallas, Texas. He also served as a Clinic Practicum Teaching Assistant, helping train future optometrists in ocular health evaluation.

Dr. Nguy has strong clinical interests in ocular disease management, contact lenses, and dry eye management. He is passionate about providing high-quality, patient-centered care and strives to create a welcoming, and informative experience for every patient.

As part of his commitment to giving back, Dr. Nguy has participated in outreach programs such as See to Succeed and the Alcon Children’s Vision Center, where he helped provide eye exams and glasses to children in underserved communities.

Outside of clinic, Dr. Nguy enjoys adventuring around the city, hiking, trying new food spots, and spending time with family and friends. Although Dr. Nguy is a Texas native, he is proud to be calling Washington state his new home.
