Dr. Joseph Renaud

Dr. Joseph Renaud began his journey to become an eye doctor at the age of 16 where he worked as a technician in a private clinic. Dr. Renaud received his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology at the University of Washington in Seattle in 2016. He received his Doctorate of Optometry at Pacific University in Oregon in 2020. He performed his externships at Jonathan M. Wainwright Memorial VA Medical Center in Walla Walla, Madigan Hospital in Tacoma and Coastal Eye Center in Long Beach WA. He finished his externship at Sound Retina and Pacific Cataract Laser Surgery center in Olympia. He is a member of the Optometric Physicians of Washington.

His passion for the field of optometry has blossomed even more since starting at Olympia Vision Clinic and enjoys working with other professionals to provide the best care to help enhance people’s lives. He enjoys learning more about ocular diseases, preventative care, contact lenses, and how to better educate others regarding overall eyecare. Dr. Renaud is an Olympia native and loves practicing in the city where his friends and family are. In his free time, he enjoys playing soccer, traveling, running, and spending time with his nephews and family.
