Dr. Amrit Jawanda

Dr. Amrit Jawanda was born and raised in British Columbia, Canada, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver. She then moved to the United States to attend Pacific University College of Optometry in Forest Grove, Oregon, where she received her Doctor of Optometry degree. The following year, she completed a residency in Cornea and Contact Lenses at the New England College of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts, gaining valuable experience at Mass Eye and Ear, Boston Medical Center, and Boston Sight.

Dr. Jawanda is honored to serve in an ownership role at Olympia Vision Clinic. She is committed to maintaining the highest standards of clinical care and fostering a welcoming environment for patients and staff alike. Her goal is to ensure the practice continues to grow while building strong community relationships.

While in clinic, Dr. Jawanda provides comprehensive eye exams with a focus on specialty contact lenses and dry eye disease management. She takes pride in building long-term relationships with her patients and values the trust they place in her care.

Now happily settled in Washington with her husband and children, she is grateful to serve the community she calls home. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling, and being with family and friends.
