Dr. Amrit Jawanda

Dr. Amrit Jawanda was born and raised in British Columbia, Canada where she graduated with her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver. She then moved to the United States to attend Pacific University College of Optometry in Forest Grove, Oregon and obtained her Doctor of Optometry degree in 2019. The following year, she completed her residency training in Cornea and Contact Lenses at the New England College of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts. She gained valuable experience working at Mass Eye and Ear, Boston Medical Center and Boston Sight throughout her residency.

Dr. Jawanda has recently moved to Washington with her husband and is excited to call the Pacific Northwest her home again. She looks forward to establishing a patient panel through comprehensive eye exams, specialty contact lenses and dry eye disease. Dr. Jawanda enjoys getting to know each of her patients and their families and hopes to create long-term relationships over the coming years. During her free time she enjoys being outdoors, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.
